Q1: What can WebhostSHIFT do for me as a customer (website owner)?
A1: In short – a VERY good deal! WebhostSHIFT provides what we call SHIFT vouchers to customers through web hosting companies. You will get a one SHIFT voucher as a customer of any participating web hosts who are member of the SHIFT network. Ask your web host on how to obtain your SHIFT voucher. WebhostSHIFT does not issue SHIFT vouchers directly to customers. All SHIFT vouchers must come through the network of providers. SHIFT vouchers allow you to choose from a wide range of plans from various web hosting companies who are members of the SHIFT network. Incentives offered in the SHIFT network are deals from web hosts which are available exclusively ONLY on the SHIFT network. All participating web hosts must follow our strict regulation which states all plans offered at WebhostSHIFT must be better than what is being offered directly by the web hosts AND must offer at least one free month of service.


Q2: What if I don’t need a web hosting provider anymore?
A2: If you feel that you won’t need a web hosting provider for a period of time, you may give the SHIFT voucher to your friends, business associates or colleagues. The SHIFT voucher is transferable to ANYONE.


Q3: What if my SHIFT voucher expires? Can you extend the expiration date?
A3: Unfortunately WebhostSHIFT cannot extend any SHIFT voucher which has expired. We encourage you to give away the SHIFT voucher to your friend before it actually expires so it won’t come to a waste. SHIFT voucher expiration periods are set by your web host and not by WebhostSHIFT. Be sure to check expiration dates as some vouchers never expire.

Q4: Can I give this SHIFT Voucher to more than one people?
A4: SHIFT vouchers are good for one use – they are not like a coupon - once used the SHIFT voucher becomes null and void.


Q5: I have redeemed my SHIFT voucher and bought a plan from a web host in your system, now I change my mind, can I change my plan?
A5: Once a SHIFT voucher has been used, it can’t be reversed back by any reason. The only way to do it is to request another SHIFT voucher from your web host. WebhostSHIFT is not allowed to issue SHIFT vouchers directly to customers.


Q6: What else would I get besides a good deal by using a SHIFT voucher in your system?
A6: By using a SHIFT voucher you are automatically entered to win a $1,000 DELL gift card monthly drawing which you can spend at DELL.COM or any outlet wherever Dell products are sold.

Q7: I don’t like my new web host I got. Can I get a refund?
A7: WebhostSHIFT does not guarantee in any way the products and services offered by web hosts registered in our network. WebhostSHIFT only acts as a mere mediator between you and the web hosting company you buy from. All products and services advertised on our network are guaranteed by the respective companies which provide them, not by WebhostSHIFT. WebhostSHIFT maintains the quality of our network by screening the participating web hosts in our network. We restrict our network to companies who we know firsthand are reliable and trustworthy. You may request a refund or settle your dispute directly with your web host if you have an issue.

Q8: Can I use the SHIFT voucher many times?
A8: The SHIFT voucher is only valid to be used ONE TIME and one time only. Once you have used the SHIFT voucher it will be automatically be invalidated by our system. We cannot re-issue any used SHIFT voucher FOR ANY REASON. Please contact the respective web hosts providing your service should you have any questions or issues with your new hosting account.

Q9: When redeeming the SHIFT Voucher, your system asks for my email and domain name, what are you going to do with my personal data?
A9: By using WebhostSHIFT system, you agree to provide WebhostSHIFT with both your domain name and email address which is used for tracking purposes only. Please read our Trust-E certified Privacy Policy for our complete privacy practices.
